There is a spell that involves getting rid of a love that is over.

I give all credit to Silver Ravenwolf for this as it is her that I reference for this. As a solitary I tend to refer to others works for now as my personal spells and shadows are unique for myself, but here goes:

Instructions to let someone go that you had loved before:

First, remove all items given to you by that person. If you desire to hold onto keepsakes cleanse them with holy water or a purification ritual (cleansing) before doing this., then place them in a black box for three months. If the relationship ended in a nasty way, get rid of all things related to the lost love.

Next, cleanse your home of any unwanted energies left behind by that person by performing a cleansing ritual for the house.

Finally, cast this spell on the dark of the moon.

Supplies:

One black and one white candle, one black ribbon (3 feet long), one pair of scissors, one large piece of black construction paper, one white crayon, 2 metal tent stakes or long nails, one bowl of spring water (cleansed), one large disposable black cloth.

Instructions:

Cleanse, consecrate and empower all items.

Cast a magick circle of protection, Place the white and black candle on the altar. Light the black candle imparting these words as you do... "I dispel all negativity, as I will, so mote it be." Light the white candle, imparting these words as you do.."From the void I pull forth the light of Spirit surrounding myself with love and protection. As I will, so mote it be."

Circle the bowl of water three times over the altar saying "Sweet release, unhappiness cease."

On the black paper with the white crayon, slowly draw an equal-armed cross saying "Guardians of the crossroads, bringer of the vortex, lend me your ear, activate the powers of the pathways, the cross between the veil, the road of left and right, the center of heart and sight, attend my wishes from dusk to light."

Bang the stakes (or nails) three times over the cross.

Gather the ribbon in both hands and impart these words "As I cut this ribon, so I will be released from (persons name), and in that release, healing energy shall grow. All negative energy will be removed by the Guardian of the Vortex."

Slowly cut one inch pieces out of the ribbon, allowing them to fall directly in the center of the white cross on the black paper. with each cutting impart these words "Sweet release, unhappiness cease."

When all the pieces are in the center of the cross say "It is done. Force and form attend my will!" then cross the stakes (or nails) over the ribbon pieces to match the drawing and let them lie there. Cover with the black cloth. Pass the bowl of spring water over the cloth, again saying "Sweet release, Unhappiness cease."

Allow the candles to burn completely. Wrap everyting, including the candle ends, in the black cloth. release the magick circle. Throw everything in a dumpster off your property, repeating the saying "Sweet release, unhappiness cease" one last time, then stomp your foot on the ground and walk away. Do not look back.
